See you in America!

Well, I guess this is it ha the end... a thing that I never thought would come in the beginning of the mish and a thing that you don't want to see at the end. But it is what it is. I agree with Dad with what he said, that there's a time and thing for everything.

This week was pretty normal haha Comp was good, then sick at the end of week. But one of the less active members in our ward/branch returned and I think the Pres. of the branch gave him a calling to help us/comp with his sickness. He brought us some food yesterday that comp can eat. It was good timing too haha cuz we're waiting for money and I didn't want to eat leftover noodles for breakfast haha but i did anyways. Hint - having a food storage in the mish works good. I'm the only one that had food haha.

So imma speak next Sunday the 12th in English?? haha can't wait to see my ingles porque es horrrrible!! But it's what i wanted hahah the pronunciation is the hardest haha. You asked me if there's anything special I want or need ... no haha just food from madre.

imma miss Argy world cuz its pretty funny. imma miss the people, the friends I've made etc. Hopefully I'll have some money some day and be able to say vamos a Argentina and we can go haha and before I forget imma sleep on the carpet hehe it's a glorious thing jk.

If Alyssa happens to have her baby the same time I'm coming home, don't feel bad if you can't come pick me up (all of you) haha.

I feel like I've become better from the mish and I guess that's something important. If you come back the same it'd be a tragedy. I remember when I got to Tandil I had to learn how to talk in espn and be a people person and now i just talk with everyone and I like giving talks with short notice, I don't sweat it as much. I've also learned a lot from the Book of Mormon. b4 the mish I didn't really understand the BOM but I read it cuz I felt the spirit and it was good and in the mish I learned how to understand it more. Obviously I'm no genius, there's a ton I don't know. ha

I was going to burn my sleeping bag like Scott suggested haha, but imma give it to the Videlas because Hueso will love it haha.

It'll be hard not being able to have my "full time job" teaching the gospel, but the good thing is I'll still have the gospel and the message to share after the mish. I'll miss doing door contacts and becoming instant friends with people you just met 5 min ago haha.

I was thinking yesterday bout the time that comps been sick. Like what have I learned in this experience. Patience yep and also I've learned a lot bout service more then I thought i did, cuz being a missionary you're always thinkin in what can i do? Being with the Videlas for a lot of the time while comp was sick I still thought a lot in that I can't leave but what can I do? I can sweep the floor, help with cookin, wipe the tables, sweep the floor again, wash dishes. Like the other day, Saturday, I helped Hueso on one of the houses they're building. I was in my tie and everything, but I had an apron on hahaha. I'm glad i could learn more bout service cuz normally when I'm done eating, I'm out haha chau, until Dad says, "Did you ask mom if she needs help?" hehe I'm thankful that I could change myself and be more useful. I remember a quote from tiger woods he said, "If you're not getting better you're getting worse," and if you think bout it, it's true. There's always somethin that we could've done better, but if we get better every day, a lil bit or a lot, we get better and I know I got better from the mish and now i just gotta run with until I die haha.

Thanks to everyone that's helped me, with your words of wisdom, your prayers, thoughts, money, in whatever thing. I'm eternally grateful. Keep goin hard. Church is true  love u all

man this maybe the last time i write this

Just goin hard to the end. Doin what I can do.

Holiis!!

We just got back from Santa Rosa and we had interviews with the Pres. It was good. Talked mostly about how comps doin. haha He asked how I was. I said learning more about patience haha. Then he's like, "The things you're doing (taking care of comp) is also missionary work." That felt good to hear cuz there's not much I can do some days. For example Saturday we had lunch with Pablo y Claudia (who got baptized with me and Elder Allen) then we were almost about to work and comp needed to go to the bathroom. Then he was like, "I'm sick." Then we called some of the few members we have and I left with one at like 8:30 ha and we have to be at our house at the latest at 9:30 haha. It's just part of life. gotta roll with it ha.

Also Saturday the Pres. of our branch called me and asked me to give a talk on missionary work. Then that night when we were at the church we saw Pres and he's like, "You have luck, you don't have to give a talk cuz the members from the stake are coming from Santa Rosa." wahoo "vamos todavia" Then at favring 8:00 am he calls me, "Hey Elder the car for the members doesn't work. Can you give a talk?" ugggh hahahaha "Yes I can!" So I put somethin together quick and just did it haha.

We found a lady named Rosana this week. We found her name in the files of the old investigators and she has assistants  and has seen a baptism, so hopefully she can get baptized b4 I leave. I hope to see a lil miracle.

It was pretty cool on Tuesday. Comp and I with the Videlas went to the clinic where they put a camera in Comp's stomach thru his throat. We asked if I could go with him and tape it, but he had to go solo with the Dr. Comp said it hurt and he has a hernia or somethin, some type of hernia where like the stomach is and like your esophagus and the stomach rises and like goes in the esophagus and that's where he has pains and feels like throwin up. He's takin pills and has to eat very healthy, bout 6 times a day, lil meals. Chef Hna Videla cooked a chicken he can eat that he bought. The doctor from Buenos Aires, for our mish, just called comp and said with the help of the pills in about 2 weeks he should feel better haha. 2 weeks  haha uggh.

b4 I forget Alyssa imma bring your bday card with me so if you were waiting or somethin sorry. I forgot to tell you b4 haha.

The Videlas said Sabrina looked so cute in her prom thing. Did you all boogie wooogie? hehe They loved your fotos in facebook.

Nice pics Clayton and Mitch, don't worry, mike jordan broke his foot and came back better ha.
The weather this week has been gr8, like summer weather :)

What else is new? Not much. Just goin hard til the end. doin what i can do. I got your guys Christmas card a few week ago haha. It looks gr8 also thanks for the bday cards.

Can you get me some new garments and a new oil thing for consecrated oil for when I return? If  the baby Alyssa jr gets born tell facebook cuz the Videlas are always on it.

love u all the church is true

Laura mixing cement to put rocks up for decoration

Agu working

Noelia with stickers hahaha
Aloha hehe

Wow just put email 100 eh haha.

This week went good. We got a lot of work in. Then comp got sick again for like the end of the week part. We're going to the doctors friday at 11 b4 some of you are awake haha. It's kinda weird how he gets sick, then he's good. We worked really hard to start the week and it just beat him up at the end of the week. ha Who knows why he's always sick, but everything happens for a reason. You know its kinda difficult when you want to try to end your mish goin all out, but you can't leave much. But no worries. I try to do what I can. All of Saturday I worked outside with the Videlas doing service. I was like,"Need some help? I wanna help." (comp was sick and rested) I helped move bricks, put up a brick wall, move stuff. It was awwesome to do that and it makes you feel good. Also that night I was goin to leave with a member when comp was with Agu, but the member never showed up ha. I've learned you can do mish service in all sorts of ways, like washing plates, cleaning tables ha shoveling. I think, "Ok, imma mish. If I can't leave, I can at least help in somethin." haaha

We have interviews next Monday with Pres. and comps pretty excited to tell him that he's sick haha and everything that's goin on. We write him weekly, but don't receive much. I did some more sewing this week on my tie when comp was sick. My pants are clean now from the flour haha. That was pretty fun. For Sub's b-day or the new Alyssa jr we can throw flour on them hahaha.

Nico and Vero are doing alright. We had divisions and Elder Woods went with Elder Dalton and they arrived and Nico was drunk eeeeh. Which was kinda weird cuz the day b4 in our lesson with them we arrived and they were both sitting at the table reading from the BOM. They did a prayer to know where to read. They opened the book and started reading and Vero read and Nico explained. You could really feel the spirit when you walked in and it felt gr8 cuz normally there are screams or arguments (its normal ha) and it feels weird. But that day it was peaceful! But we still have faith that everything will go good. I'm not too worried. The johnny lingo (found out it's Mingo) was in a bike wreck and I think that it humbled him. He can't work for 2 yrs. He hurt his left ear thing and right shoulder, arm etc. He's doing pretty good. We passed by the clinic where he's at and he said, "Pamela and I are going to get married. I was thinking of you guys and we're going to do it" !!!! The only thing they had problems with was getting married and they want to do it now and go to the church!! That was good news at the end of the week. Then we walked to the Videlas and comp was drained. Like 15 blocks (nothin in mish terms).

I love Argy and am tryin to enjoy every moment. Like all the times we see cars almost crash and your like,"Oh" and you tighten up ha. Tryin to enjoy the bread, the loud motos (scooters). Tryin to take everythin in and enjoy it.  Also j-walking and all the kids with soccer jerseys seeing.

We found a fam that their grandma is a member but she died like a year ago, like a month after her baptism. They know a little of the church and we're tryin to invite them and get them to church. The dad's name is Juan Villada. His wife thing, Graciela and Agustina, the daughter. We were really hoping to pass by their house like Saturday, b4 church, but couldn't. He does bike races in Argy. Like he goes to Mar del Plata and other providences etc. and most of them are Sundays :) ha but he said he'd get bapt if he has that conviction that it's true.

Wahoo Jake's going to Mexyland this week. It's sweet being out of country. It's like livin upside down haha.

I'm very grateful for the gospel in my life and i know how to be happy (like the plan, god has feeling for us, holy ghost etc). It's amazing the blessing we have. I feel pretty lucky and it's good to help people understand a little more bout gospel.

know the church is true if u don't ask God for an answer and it'll come

Conference & "Birday" Weekend

JAPY BIRDAY ROBERT :)
Holalalalla

Thanks for the birday wishes etc. Life is down hill from now jaja chiste love life! It was pretty fun getting smashed with flour haha. That night we were going to do "service" where they would've hit me with flour and eggs, but comp got his tooth fixed on and had pain that day, so we didn't get to change our clothes. This is how it happened - Noelia entered the house jaja and screamed, "Laura there's been an accident an accident" and comp and I looked at each other like hmm lets go see. We leave and when I pass the side of the house POW! in the face hahaha. It was pretty sweet. I thought it was funny. I didn't even think anything when Noelia was screaming accident haha and the cake was favring huge. It was gr8 too. Lauras a capa. She does all the cakes! If I were born in Argy world I'd be born officially on the 6th, with the time change thing haha.

Conference was AwESOME! I loved the talk from Pres. Monson. He said you will receive answers to your biggest questions when you're obedient. Also loved his story bout the matches hahaha. Loved the talk from Elder Holland bout keeping the faith alive and like don't give up. Uchtdorf's was gr8 bout being a light in the world. We all have those bad sick feelings that we don't want, but sometimes stays in us, but we need to turn night into day. We saw a lil of priesthood with the Videlas in Sunday morning. We went to lunch at bout 10:30-11:00 and they had the priesthood going from the night b4. Heard the talks of Uchtdorf, Eyring and Monson. I loved the part how Uchtdorf compared us to babies learning how to walk. That we fall and the parents are like we love you. You can do it, keep going! And how Heavenly Father is like that. Keep going don't give up. I've learned a lot bout that stuff on my mission from the BOM how HF wants us to keep going and use the atonement. Christ didn't suffer for us to suffer. He wants us to use it to be happy! I'll look forward to reading more.

p.s. don't send me anymore packages or things cuz we'd have to pay for it haha. I think my b-day thing is in Pico so I don't have to pay for it. It's a new rule thing. But from now on I don't want anything haha.

We got to work more this week. We had a conference in Santa Rosa with other missionaries and we learned to ¨suffer with joy¨ and comp and I looked at each other & smiled. My comp is the best example at it haha. He's always happy no matter how sick he feels. He's always doing jokes  and sometimes I ask him, "You doin ok?" (with health) and he's like I hurt but he's always happy. On my b-day they fixed his molar tooth and was in pain, but happy. I've learned a lot from him on being just happy always. He's hilarious. He was pretty good this week. He has his days and we never know when they come, but with patience and a smile everything's better and funner. We should always have fun! haha Comps also funny at telling me how short of time I have haha and during the conf talk about marriage he looks at me like "You listening? You're next mother goose." I'm like, "yeah i know!" He makes everything fun haha.

Barby went to conference on Sunday. Nico and Vero didn't. They dropped her off and left. Kinda weird ha. Thank you parents for being so good to me. There's many times where I'm like dang I've got it good in my life. My mom never screams at me, only when I hit a 3 hehe. My dad doesn't beat me, just in one on one hehe. No but for real thanks. thanku thanku That's probably the biggest thing I've learned on the mish. And once again Alyssa and Scott, you'll be gr8 parents. No worries. 1st off you're married which like 90 % of Argyworld isn't. The kid will have a mom and dad that will love them. Some don't. Sometimes I think bout other kids, "poor kid I wish I could be their parent cuz they just have it bad."

My pick for the b-day of the bebé is May 7 lucky numero 7. We get to go to the temple wahoo!!

We're really hoping that Nico y Vero can get baptized in this month. It's our goal. Keep praying for them etc.

mich will win go louis.

keep praying for me etc going hard to the end dont want to leave :(  keep reading BOM and being a light in the world i know this church is tru and that god contests prayers in his do time

Easter here is a big holiday!

Happy April Fools day fools haha

and HAPPY BIRFDAY ALYSSA WOW 23 ya esta vieja jajaja My prediction is that the baby leaves on Alyssa's or my birthday or if not, for sure on her own birthday haha.

Hope your Easter was all good. It's pretty cool, Easter here, it's more of like a big holiday. Like people do asados etc and it's more cooler cuz the Pope's one of us ha. It rained all day yesterday. Nico y Vero no went to the church. I have become to love the talks in church more as I search for revelation. It's awesome! It was kind of a tuff week this week. Comp was sick again. Monday he had migraines. Then like the rest of the week his stomach thing and so he called the mission dr that's in Buenos Aires. He's a yankee and he said to buy some medicine thing and it was a medicine for giraria, I think somethin like from the water or somethin and it does like work on his stomach and after that two days with the pills he (was for 5 days) wasn't feeling better, actually worse. So he called the dr and he said don't take them any more. So he stopped and seems to be doing good, back to normal. And also during the week ha he broke one of his molars, teeth thing, poor comp ha. After that happened he was pretty bummed or frustrated not being able to work, then his tooth brakes, but he's tuff and has a gr8 attitude. He's funny. He reminds me a lot of ehscott (Scott). It always stinks when you can't work much like after that week when he was sick we thought, "Wahoo, we're all good now." Then went by a week good, then got sick again. Hopefully we can go hard this week. You learn a lot of patience ha.

Conf week aaaaaaahhhh! I'm droolin, you know, after getting preseason conf from Elder Nelson. I've been waiting so bad for this weekend. It starts at 1:00 and 5:00 here. Then priesthood Sunday in the morning. Can't wait! It's such a gr8 time to receive revelation personal. From one of the talks from the special conf with Elder Bowen etc he said we need to have a specific question and ask it to God to receive the answer so we can understand the answer. Go with questions and desires. I think I was reading in Alma in the BOM and read how to get like mysteries from God or answers to questions it's repentment, faith, doing good works and praying continually and you will know the mysteries of God.

Todays Agu's bday, April fools, no jk it really is. The Videlas want to celebrate it with Me Sunday. Kinda forgot that it was my birthday lol but I don't really care. At least it'll b better then last year I hope where it was my 1st day in Tandil and yeah ha. But I think it was the fastest year of my life.

Oww, I'm holding my knee after you told me that story of that Louisville player awww. and go kobe.

The weather was pretty good until like the end of week. It's true dad, it's a lil different with Easter down south where everything's dyin and when I'm use to everything green and happy ha. I realized the leaves are like yellow which is always bad haha. I remember when I got to Argy in the winter and everything was dead and cold it was kinda like oh no i hope it doesn't always look like this here haha.

The pics look gr8. Alyssa's big. The Videlas were like, "Hey, look your sis put a new foto." They're all fans of you guys. They showed me and Hna Videla was like, "I like how she is cua." She's happy. There are other preg people and they're draggin around, but she's like I like her, she's doing gr8 and healthy and they always tell me Sub has pics with boys hahahaha.

I'll ask Laura how to do the cakes mom. They're always good. Oh, I don't have fotos of pikza from last week. We cooked its called ñoquis yesterday. They're good. They're noodles, but made from potatoes if that makes sense. They're good.

Have a gr8 conf week. Go hard and listen to the talks and the holy ghost. It's only twice a year we can hear this.
Happy birfdays alyssa's ooold hehe jk

I'm Still in Picooo Yeaaaaahhh!!!

Holissssssssssssssssss

todo bien! IM STILL IN PICOOO YEAAAAAHHH!!! I'm soo happypypypy! No one in our district left. We're all the same. Pretty awesome. I'll end my mish here with 4 areas under my belt ha. I told comp the other day,"On my b-day I can say a year ago I was in the area." I just came from before Tandil haha I love it here!!

Yesterday at church, it was awesome. We had a special conference that happens every two years. That is that a member of the apostles comes and someone from the 70. Also they came to Buenos Aires and did a broadcast to our area of Argentina in like 106 stakes. Elder Nelson came. Didn't know he knew espñ. He talked a lot bout the family and how exaltation is a family effort. He also did something awesome, he blessed the favring country! He blessed Argy to take more interest in the gospel by our examples and they'll be more open to hear the gospel (gr8 to hear after Pope haha) He also blessed us with health to do the things we need to do according to the will of God and 2 other things awww can't remember. They're in my other agenda thing. It was gr8!! Elder Shayne Bowen (one of my favs) came too and spoke bout how to receive revelation personal, a thing that I've been working on lately and talked a lot bout how important it is to be obedient when you want to receive revelation, and also said we should go to God with a specific question so we can understand the answer. Also Hna Stevens of the primary spoke talked bout how her son served in Argy and he kept saying how gr8 the people are..true.

Nico and Vero are doin good. Nico told us Tuesday (Sunday b4 got the book of Lorenzo Snow teachings) he said, "Yeah I read that whole book and finished it at 3 am" ..... Foreeeal haha. We were so impressed! He was like,"Yeah I want to teach the class." haha Also Vero read like half of it also haha. We're trying to help them to move their excitement to read to the BOM. We had a lesson in the church with them and we watched a DVD the testaments. But they didn't go yesterday :( but still want to get bapt.

I don't know bout my plane flight thing mom. You guys will actually be getting my information, so you'll have to tell me and tell me I'm goin to south beach :) So be waiting for that. It may come soon or in like the next 2 weeks or somethin idk. It's weird to be in last transfer. I don't really believe it. It actually stinks haha but I'm goin hard to the end.

Next time you see Shawn Bradley yell Tracy McGrady and do like a tiger grawl with your hand thing (hint look it up).

How da baby doin forreeal? I bought her a lil thing to wear haha 20 pesos. Laura was like,"Hey they're selling baby clothes for 20 pesos! Go buy some." So I did. 4 dollars. What's her name goin to be? Ideas? Ochocinco is a good one :) And Alyssa and Scott if you are nervous bout bein parents don't worry. You'll be gr8. I feel bad for some of the kids here by the way their parents treat them. So don't sweat it you'll be gr8. Bought a Messi jersey Barcelona style oh yeaaah Holdstocks haha imma mother goose at buying things, but I'll get you things lol.

Our new schedule to write is 4:30 to 6. More time to write friends etc. But I just write Pres and you guys, Jake and Jeff, so you can get a lot more of my words of wisdom lol. It's kinda a bummer cuz after an hour you want to leave haha and it takes time from p-day, but whatever.

We made lunch with the Videlas Saturday cuz we did service with them and stayed to eat. Laura taught me to do pizza or how they say it here picksa or peepsa. It's pretty cool lol.

I'm excited for gen conf. Prep yourselves for it. I will! I love the Book of Mormon! There is not a day that goes by that I don't read at least 30 min from it cuz I remember that Shawna Smart told us in Sunday School that if we read 30 min a day we'll have help from angels. Since then 30 min a day and it changes your life forreal. Just do it! It happens to everyone at times that they don't feel like reading but never miss a day. Its so cool how you can pick out so many things in verses. I was reading in Mosiah 4. I love it.

Easter is more popular here. More people do it cuz there's more Catholics. The Pope thing hasn't changed anything really. I'd agree people would talk more bout religion now, but it hasn't changed much of anything. Just brings more swag to Argy like, take that, he's Argy. That's bout it and Messi is Argy.

love u all keep praying hard and reading ery day from BOM 30 min a day:)
Chauchiiiisssssssss

Argy Pope - Everyone's pumped!

che papa nuevo eh is the theme of the week

Yeaaaaah the Pope's Argy wahoooo! The Argy are pretty pumped about it. Kinda like, "Yeah, he's one of us." It's actually pretty cool, but at the same time its like eeeehh cuz now it give the catholics like more swag ha. I just wanna know if the Pope ever went to church haha "I'm catholic." "Do you go to church?" "Noooo not since I took the communion since I was 13 like 25 yrs ago, but I'm catholic." ha is the result to them. I actually love the catholics. They're not so like stuck up, they're cool and they'll listen. The Pope is Argy which means Argy will win the world cup. We got the Pope and Messi, yeaah. Yes, he's the 1st latino Pope so I'll be able to understand him wahoo. It's kinda like represent Argy is what we think of the Pope.

Comps doing good. He's pretty much better, for real. Pretty sweet we were able to work normal and we found Nico y Vero again yeaah! They went to church yesterday!! They're a gr8 little fam. They need to get married. She's still waiting for the divorce papers which should come soon. They're a humble fam to. They don't have much, almost nothin. They live in one of the houses her dad has, but don't have light cuz they're waiting for the money. Nico doesn't have a job. We ended a lesson with them Joseph Smith style, with a candle lit in the kitchen in the dark to see. And we went to the Videlas, like they don't have anything to eat cuz it was true and Hna. (hermana) Videla was like, "Ok, lets make them something." They're freaking saints! They made them some rice and we all went to their house, the whole fam, and gave them dinner it was awesome. The next day they were like it was a miracle! They've really changed and have become better. They need to quit smoking. Nico is hilarious. He called us and was like "Hello" in English. They're gr8. Barby needs to go to church. She was in Santa Rosa with her dad. She's awesome too.

This week we get transfers - my laaaaaaaaaaaast! Wow, it doesn't feel like it. I hope hope hope hope I end here. I love it here and don't want to leave. It's a gr8 place. It's amazing how time flies for real. There's 2 sisters in our district that are ending this week and I'm favring out like dang that's me next. I love the mission! I've really "realized"  a lot in my mission, like the stuff that matters and how gr8 my parents have been. I also agree with that missionary that dad heard that said it helped him for marriage. I'm not married, but I've learned a toooon with having to be with a comp, a tooon. You can't change your comp, but you can change you and serving them is gr8. Learned that too.

But, I've still got work to do here until the end. awww I don't want to leave.

I gave a talk yesterday bout the mission of Jesus and the plan of salvation. I did more of me just teaching then reading. It was pretty fun ha.

It was freezing here the last 3 days. awww today is normal good, but awful the other 3 days. We have 3 more days of summer then autumn  boo haha.

I'll be looking for that necklace thing. haha I need to buy things. I hate buying things, but imma do it for love for you guys hahaha. I buy the cheepest of everything :)

love u all keep being awesome keep praying for me that i can do my best etc
thx for the support. I got Jake's letter. He sounds gr8.

Learning some domestic skills

Playing Yenga

Los Lakers drafted me. Noelia made this for me.

I won (at the laguna)

Jeni she's called. We call her Ochocinco jaja. Laura babysits her. She's a neighbor.

Sewing yeah uh me and my motha skillz
Holiiis mis Chiquitos!!!

That's great that Scott's doing well. I love the foto of Alyssa. The flia Videla were like, "Hey, Elder Robert, look at your sis. She's huge"(belly wise, they said you look gr8). They love following all the fams of everyone. Once you come here you're adopted basically by the Videla's. They're awesome!! And the Hna Videla remembers everything of us haha like a mom. Comp rested most of the week. Last Monday after writing you guys we worked for 2 hrs. Walked maybe 1 or 2 miles and he was beat and was in pain and was pretty beat during the week. But at the end it got better. I left with a member which was good. We're teaching a girlfriend of a less active. She has interest and says she wants to try it and have a spiritual experience. Pretty cool.

The Videlas did help us a ton ton this week. I did learn how to sew. Laura taught me. We sewed the back thing of one of my ties. It was fun. Also learned how to iron pants better. hahaha I iron, but it comes out the same haha jk. So it was good to learn the right way to do it. What else did I learn? Played some more card games. I dominated haha.

On Thursday we went to Santa Rosa for a meeting with the zone (not with pres). It was good. Comp was beat after as you can imagine cuz we had to wake up at 5 and 2 hrs to and from Santa Rosa. Also that day was when Noelia and Agu started school. They were so excited to start hahaha not. Well I think Noelia was cuz she was so hipped up on showing off her swag with the new 1D shirt she received from you guys. I'm still the man at serving mate. Too bad we can't drink it haha.

We went to the Drs Friday after comps week of rest and they said the pain will go away with time and to keep taking the medicines good and not eating like heavy stuff and sauces etc. They said nothing of kidney stones so I guess that theory went out the door, thankfully haha. So we'll be able to work more this week. He'll still continue to have days where he looks like Rocky after a fight and days like today where he has energy. Like being pregnant, really haha.

I didn't get Jake's email, but don't worry Jake. I was the favring worst in espñ. The thing that really helped me is to love it cuz there will be missionaries that will hate it for their whole mission and they always talk English. It's a pain at first. I feel what you're going thru, but just hang in there and just remember that one day you'll be reading in the ensign or somethin and you'll think, "Why am I reading in English, oh wait its espñ." Or you'll be praying in espñ and end it and be surprised that you did it all in espñ without thinking. With time it will all come. Once you get to mexico is when you'll learn the most. Just keep focused on how you're doing and not others cuz there will be others that will learn fast. I didn't haha tu puedes hacer lo!!! I remember each night in bed I would say, "la iglesia de jesucristo de los santos de los ultimos dias" and it was soooo hard for me to remember. Hang in there! :)

It was pretty funny at church or b4 I was preparing to learn a ton cuz I wanted to receive inspiration, feel the spirit, etc. and it ends up the favring theme of the day was marriage and having a family… hahaha. I told comp that after and we got a good laugh at it. I'm like, "Hey, I've still got time in the mission." Comps pretty funny bout saying how old I am. We were in lunch and he said mayonnaise (maonase how ever u spell it) and mayo is the month of may. So he was like mayonnaise hmmm like mayo hmm like when you leave hahaha. I was like, hey not funny haha jk. I'm persevering until the end. I have no idea how to spell perserving ???

The mish is once in a lifetime. Don't want to leave. I heart Argyworld :)

Love yall
keep it groovy the church is true if u don't know it, pray to know and you'll know

Feeling for my sick Comp

Holis (oh lees)

Dang that stinks that Scott's in the hospital. Hope you get beettter soon! My comp has been in the hospital too. He still has pains in his stomach and they did a lil pregnant check thing with that cream and they put it on your stomach like they do to Alyssa haha. It was pretty funny. We went Tuesday to the Drs 3 times cuz we'd go there, do lil somethin and they'd say, "Come back at 1" or somethin so we did that Tues. That's when he got his stomach scanned. We were with the Videlas. They are gr8. They help us with everything. Agu is the chauffeur and the fam accompanies us ha. Then they told us to return Friday to the Drs for the results and they say he's in the beginning process of kidney stones and bacteria in his intestines.  Oow! And he's taking medicine and stuff to make it smaller and the doc told him he needs to rest until Friday (this Friday). He can't walk more than 1 kilometro so that's how the last week was and how this coming week will be. We have an appointment Friday with doc. Until then comp has to rest. Ima leave with some members Tuesday and Thursday. It's kinda hard when there's bout 3 others that attend that have the high priest and they work and stuff. Tonight we'll work some since we haven't worked much. Almost nothin the last wk. When I'm gone Agu would be with comp. The Videlas help us a ton. I think it was a blessing that comp came here to be sick. There's not much you can do ha. I've learned some card games with the Videlas, washed dishes etc. Comp's doin ok, not like horrible. He just has sharp pains in his stomach and sides. There's days where he looks better then others and has less pain. Hna Videla told me this is what it'll be like when your wife's pregnant hahaha. So I'm gettin practice at taking care of my dear comp hahahaha. Hopefully he can get better and we can get back to a normal schedule. Comp also has to eat like white rice, white noodles, crackers, toast etc. nothin too heavy. It's weird being limited to work, like you can't do much. Thankfully we can be with the Videlas and they can entertain us and so we're not going crazy in our apartment. I think Ima learn how to sow (how do u spell sow ha) (sew) I know how to, but don't. They're going to teach me. I have to fix the back of my ties. It's cool being in the lives of Argys. They like mate and I've learned how to prepare it. "Hey, Elder Robert, want to prepare mate?" "You got it!" haha

So what else? We went to Nico y Veros other new house, but they told us that they went back to their house. wahoo! Closer to church. We're still teachin Claudia (sis of vero) and son Jorge. She also has 2 more sons that are 9 and 14. They want to get bapt. We haven't seen Felix in weeks and haven't really had time to see Ana. It was a bday party of her kid one day. Hopefully we can work more this week.

This is day one of the 3 week transfer thing, so after 3 weeks is when we start the next 6 wk transfer which would be my last. So I'll be here for at least 3 more weeks and hopefully stay and end here in Pico por favor!

I was reading in Alma 41 and it's a pretty sweet chapter. I like how it kinda explains that you'll know if you'll be worthy in the judgement. Also, I like chapter 40. Those 2 are gr8 and in one of those chapters it says in, what's it called in English umm, spirit world, in the prison you won't have any feelings from the spirit! Daaaang, that would be horrrible! Like it really stuck out to me that time. The weather is getting a lil colder :( stop stealing the heat ha and since dad asked me if the mornings are darker I've noticed they are.

Hope you all are good this next week and you guys can feel better especially (eh)scott they say it like that ehscott.
love u all keep prayig for us
imma try to send some fotos

Transfer Scare

Buenaaas wassup?

It was a different week this week. Comp was sick for 3 days ha! With idk what it's called in English, somethin like gasterosisness something. We went to the doctors Tuesday with Hna Videla. They said he has to eat like healthy stuff now ha. Like fruits, crackers and not too much. He's been exhausted and beat. We were with the Videlas for most of the week cuz she'd cook him somethin like soup and he'd just relax cuz he looked pale. I tried calling some members to leave with them, but no luck. So Tuesday to Friday we were basically with the Videlas. They took good care of him. I helped put on some tile with Laura in their kitchen. I can't sit still or I go crazy ha. So I helped them with that. I helped clean their kitchen too cuz I don't like to sit still ha. Comp has like a checkup at the doctors tomorrow, but he's doin much better, but taking time with it cuz at times he just get exhausted and has to take a break. Here is the best place to get sick cuz you have the fia Videla that takes care of you. Sickness paradise, if there's such a thing ha.

We found Nico y Vero yeeeeeaaaah!!!! We were workin after lunch Saturday in a far place where we don't work a ton cuz its far far. We were walkin and heard, "Hey!" and it was Barby. And it was like Barby what are you doin here?  Wahoo! We found you. They live like on the opposite side of the city and she showed us where they're staying now. They don't have a cellular or anything, so we had no way to find them and it was awesome! A Christmas miracle ha. They didn't go to church. It will be harder for them to go cuz now they live 20 blocks from the church. We're also talkin with the relatives in their house, Jorge 19 and his mom Claudia. Don't know where Felix is. We've passed by a few times and nada. We didn't really have time to talk with Ana, the lady that speaks english (cuz comp was sick)  but were going to go by today.

Friday night was loco ha. Elder Dalton, the district leader, said that there would be transfers on Saturday (2 days ago) to have a transfer for 5 and the next for 4 weeks, not to make it a 9 week transfer and he told us. (He lives with us and found out by phone from zls) and the 4 of us had a favring panic attack. Aawwwww nooooo! We can't leave cuz were all good friends and we've been prepping for at least 4 weeks together and to have it turn to one more day awwwww! I was favring dying and praying, "Help me stay please, if it's your will." So all of Saturday it was like, "please no, please no!" We told the Videla they were like, "No, you guys have to stay!" As time goes on in the day it was like 5:00 and pretty weird cuz we get transfers like at 12:00 and we were in a house and Elder Dalton called with the transfer news. He talked with Elder Woods and I was talkin in the house of Nico y Vero and comp said, "And he goes where?" Then his face like uh oh! Then I heard, "And who's coming in?" And in this moment my heart is at the favring floor like no! It can't be! Then I started to talk with the people in the house. Then comps like, "We're all staying yeeeeeeeeeeeeah!!" They were lame transfers. There was 2 moves in the whole mission. All between zls. I was sooooo happpyyyy! Still am! We told fia Videa and they were relieved too! awwww transfer scare haha. So all in all nothin happened. Yes and I hope to end here. I remember Dad asked me if I thought I'd end here last week and forgot to contest, but yes I hope so. It's the best place in the world and the work is getting better. :)

Yeah it was the bday of Hna Videla. We gave her an apron thing with our names on it from the elders. She loved it and cried yeah. She's the mama of the mission. They told me to say thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaankss or graaaaaaaaaciaaaaaaaasss for the gifts. They love them and imma geta foto of them. They love the candies too. The raisin things.

Love u all. Keep praying for me and keep goin hard.
What's some more news on the bebé la princesa de la familia la capa de capas mi sobrina favorita. voy a hablar a ella een castellano. I love espñ it's amazing. I was readin the other day and paused at a word and stared at it, like wait is this english or espñ (an ensign)? And it was in espñ and I was like yeah! its all the mismo

Working hard - even during siestas

They got us wet on Elder Wood's birthday with water balloons.

Working with Hueso Videla

Saying good bye to Elder Allen
Holalalalas

It's kinda cold here. aww no ha! The other day when we were shopping I saw winter jackets and was like, "Oh no, not yet!" ha But it's still like 70 something. The other day it hit 99 yeah.

My comp was a lil sick this week. He's got somethin with his stomach. We went to the doctors on Valentine's Day with Hna Videla and we're going again Friday. But he's doing better. He was sick 2 days.

We think Nico y Vero are in Buenos Aires. We talked with them Tuesday (day b4 comp was sick) and they don't have a phone or anything so we couldn't call, but they said somethin bout Buenos Aires and we think they're there for vacations. They didn't go Sunday to church. Saturday, no Friday, in nightish the President of the branch called us to see if we could give a talk, us both, Sunday (yesterday). wahoo yay joy lol! Naw it wasn't that bad. We were assigned missionary work again and I read some parts of the last conference general where Pres. Monson talked bout how we should see others and how they could become. My favorite part is when an apostle interviewed a missionary in 1961 and this missionary was the most successful of like total and the apostle was like so did you get a lot of references and he said no we did all our baptisms by knocking doors. When I imagine the people in white for baptism and as children of God I can bear a real good testimony to them that can touch them. That is true! I've seen it when I kinda take my myself out of the situation or how they look now (people in the door) and imagine them in white with testimonies. I have more love for them there, not just a normal person.

School's starting soon, next Monday. Wow time flies! The other day it hit me that we're in February and March is when summer ends :/

I may buy one of their school uniforms cuz they're funny haha jk. The kids have like a Dorothy apron that they all use and the older kids have a Bill Nye white jacket.

Alright Jake, you're gettin close man. Take over Mexico. Don't worry, you'll learn espñ. You're much smarter then me SMARTer haha. I love espñ or what it's called here castellano (kah steh SHAWNn oh). I don't speak espñ haha. It's pretty amazing how I and us missionaries can learn it. I don't really know how it happened lol. You just all of the sudden know it. I love learning cool words. At time with the Videlas they'd say somethin and they're like, "Write that down Elder Roberts, that's a good word." lol like I learned the word nebuliser nebulisador hehe.

It was funny, Saturday we were workin in the street at like 3:00ish and if you've been to Argy that time is sacred... for sleeping ha. But you miss every shot you don't take, you miss every door you don't touch at 3:00 or at 8:00. But anyways, we were in front of a house clapping to see if anyone is home and a guy walked by us and said, "With all respect, you shouldn't work right now, everyone's sleepin." I was like, "Hey, can we talk to you then?" hahaha He was like no and took off fast lol. I like workin in the siesta bcuz others don't ha. It's hard no doubt cuz literally at times you look down both ways of the street and nothin, but there's always some one if you believe. Don't tell me everyone's sleeping haha.

Felix, I think, is done with his house. It's yellow now lol. He hasn't been home the last few days. We found a lady named Ana the other day. When we rang her lil door bell phone and she's like, "Who is it?" "We're missionaries, etc."  "One moment," she said. Comp was like, "She said that in English." I was like, "For real? Cool." cuz for me English and espñ is the same when i hear it. cuz I talk espñ to all. It was pretty funny. I get confused, but she had some interest. She's going to Orlando in May, but we set a baptism date with her.

have a good week and feel the spirit.
Church is true and there's only one way to have happiness, living the gospel.

Parable of the Plums - Don't steal your blessings!

Holas

Sounded like a pretty sweet weekend in the Bury with all the experiences, changes, etc. The leaders in the church really are called by God. I've gained a bigger testimony of that in the mish and being in meetings with bishops, presidents, etc during the weeks and it's cool to see how they get inspired and they know exactly what to do. Pres. Parreño talks bout how to make yourself better you need to imitate someone like Jesus Christ and he also said to like someone in your life that you can follow their footsteps and copy them. Like you've seen them thru the years and they're always strong. I remember thinking, "Dad, how do you do it?" idk but I remember you have always put the Lord in front of everything else and the things important 1st. I remember you said to me when you got called as a bishop you said to me how even tho you're the bishop, 1st you're my dad and that it's your 1st calling. I remember some members asked me one time what callings have I had or my parents and they were like wow he was bishop during like all your teen years. You never saw him. But I thought and remember him at every game, every everything and never felt that he wasn't there. I always knew he was there. Then more bout the leaders - I thought of all of my family members,  grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc and felt so blessed to be in the family that I have. I feel the love and respect from every one of you. It's pretty incredible. Being away and seeing other parents here etc I just feel so good that my parents care so much for me, about school, if I'm home, if I bathe ha, if I lie etc. Thank you all and my leaders in the church.

Nico and Vero went to church. Barby didn't. She was sleeping haha and we were like, "Hey, you should wake her up, etc." But no (give thanks once again for my parents and leaders/ Lonny Steele, waking me up for church stuff) hahha. But Nico and Vero had a good experience. They want to get baptized. She has to get divorced, but thankfully she started a while ago. So she says perhaps in March they can get married. They also need to quit smoking. They've really changed a lot since we've been going to their house. They don't drink any more. They said they were drinking the can of beer and they were drinkin and they just didn't feel right. So they bought a different brand but felt the same haha. And they said, "Thanks to you guys we feel that way." haha I hope and pray that the papers of the divorcement can come soon cuz at times it can be a real headache and plus I want to see a wedding haha.

We had a zone meeting in Santa Rosa (not with pres) but with the La Pampa missionaries. The zls told us an example that he (pres) said in the meeting they had with the leaders bout fishing. How if we put on the hook a strawberry or something we like and we try to fish with it, the fish won't eat it. We'll catch nothin. But if we put somethin they like they'll bite and he used that in comparison to our investigators, that we need to teach them things that they need /want.

haha also I remember one day a few weeks ago, I wanted to share this story. It has a good lesson, but I keep forgetting to write it. But we were walking one day and we see two kids, like 7 to 9 years old. Two lil boys and they were like, "Hey, 1 peso for 2 plums!" And they were like, "Hey come here!" And I was like, hey, why not. I'll give them a peso just cuz i feel like being nice and they can buy some candy or something even though I can walk to the tree they picked them off lol. So I bought the plums and was like, "Hey see ya later." Then we kept walkin and I remember thinking they didn't say thanks or anything they just took it and ran like they stole it from me. I wasn't offended or anything just thought it was a lil weird that they didn't say anything ...then i thought how many times have I done that to my Heavenly Father? He gives me a blessing cuz he wants to be nice and I take it and run. I immediately began to pray in my head thank you for this, thank you for that. For a while ha I felt bad and it was a good lesson I learned. Thank the Lord for the blessing you have and don't steal your blessings.

love u all thax for everything keep praying for me and the investigators.

Teaching a guy named Jhoni Lingo, that's right, Jhoni Lingo

Wassups my friends

It was a pretty sweet and interesting week. 1st off Nico and Vero and Barby are progressing incredibly. They, Nico and Vero, went to church yesterday and they loved it. We passed by like every day last week. The prayers from Nico are, for real, some of the best I've heard. He's like, "And bless Robert and his family. It's been a while since they've seen each other and bless them." Nico is awesome he's the one that's covered in tatts. I took a foto of them, but I forgot my other card at home. I bought an 8 gig one the other day and I have that one with me here, but next week I'll send it of them. Nico has a twist of Dennis Rodman haha. Just kinda crazy but one of the coolest. Has a ton of weird questions haha. The other day he's like, "Ok 1 more question. Does Springfield exist (from the Simpsons)? haha Vero wants to get baptized. Nico has said that they're relationship has gotten better since we've been by. Barby was with her grandpa during church so she didn't go. They love reading the pamphlets bout the plan of salvation, word of wisdom. They're pretty special. Hope and pray everything works out good! :)

Tuesday comp went to the dentist and they pulled out one of his molars or one of those big fat teeth on the bottom. He did work on it when he was in Tandil like 4 weeks ago and it broke or somethin so the dentist pulled it out and she said today is a vacation day for him. He can't talk much and do much today. We bought ice cream for him and went to the Videlas. Comp slept cuz he had a head ache ha and you go crazy in your own house when you can't work. We or I made food with the Videlas. Watch out - Imma come back chef reggie reg awwwh chiste. After that day comp was good with his teeth. I hate days you can't work even when your comp's sick or somethin cuz you just feel useless. Thankfully I've been blessed with good health in the mish.

It was comps bday on Feb 1st. Number 21. ya esta viejo Videlas invited us to a dinnerish. We had cake and sang to him. I wish we had more dinners in the mish haha.

The relatives of the Blancos are named Jhoni Lingo and Pamela. Yeah, that's right, Jhoni Lingo haha. They didn't go to church. They accept everything except marriage. We'll be praying a lot and trying to get revelation for them and how to help them not be scared of marriage. They said they don't want to get married. Then 3 days later get separated hmm. ha It's pretty cool, the situations we get into as missionaries, like helping people in marriage and I've never been married ha. But the answers are for everyone and are simple if we're obedient (to have a good marriage). Some times we make the easy things hard, like maybe reading or prayin or going to church.

Felix has been workin on his house for like 2 weeks and said to come by this week. Felix is gr8. Me and comp love visiting him cuz he's so funny and it's made me think how our attitudes etc can make us be more likable. Like people want to be around us. He's gr8. Everyone loves him. He was showing some good interest b4 he started workin on his house.

Yeah Randy Foye is a capo represent Villanova guards.

Thx for the prayers etc and for your gr8 letters and things you write to help me. Imma speak espñ to Alyssa Jr alright?

Love Reggianito(brand of cheese) Grant Robeart
stay focused always :)

Elder Woods is a gr8 guy

We finally contacted the investigators that have been talking to the other elders cuz they're family with fam Blanco, the converts. They already know a lot. They just don't feel ready to get married yet. He's 21, she's 22 I think, but they're gr8. Felix didn't go to church cause there was people workin on his house. Vero and Nico and Barbi went to church 2 weeks ago and they thought it was all closed, so they went home aww me mataron. They got  there when we would've been in sacrament meeting. Yesterday in sacrament meeting there was bout 65ish. Wahoo! Cuz a lot of family came to see the baptism of one of the 8 yr olds. They were all from Manu's world - Bahia.

Elder Woods is a capo. He's funny like Scott and people love talkin to him. He shared in church yesterday, with the youth, his experience bout growing up. How he played football and wasn't really active. He then separated his shoulder where he tore every tendon and the Dr's said he can't play more. He was talkin with some school to play and then felt pretty bad like God took somethin away from him. But then he said he started to pray and became active in the church and now he's here. He received like a scholarship or somethin to throw the discus at SUU and he used that in his story, like he felt for a while that Heavenly Father took somethin from him, but he was later rewarded for it. He's a gr8 guy. A good example to me.

Sam's espñ is good. If he did that on his own, he already knows more espñ than when I left the MTC. For real I didn't know anything. It literally sounded like Chinese and Tongan. But don't worry Jake! You'll get it good. Your much SMARTer then me hahah. I love learning new words. Noelia has a, whats the word? (lunfardo) She talks like the kids do. The youth learn a lot from her ha.

This morning I was reading in Alma 30, when Korihor was like, "Show me a sign, then I'll believe," and then was struck dumb aka. Be humble while you can. I like the scripture, can't think where its at, where he said it's better if your humble cuz you want and for the love of God you have and not for some instance or thing that happens to you to make you humble. And I like the end verse part how it says he followed the devil and the devil does nothin good for us and how he died pretty much like garbage in the street.

Alyssa's baby bump looks gr8. I was like fuuaahh de 10, she's lookin big wow! The pics look gr8 of everyone at the wedding, etc.

The snow looks . . . cold haha. Argy was pretty cool the past week, like 80. Where's the heat? ha

Keep workin hard and livin good and reading and praying with real intent. And keep prayin for me. :)

I'm still in Pico!!!! Wahoo!!!!

Zone Conference in Santa Rosa I'm on the front row, 2nd on the left
Felix, our 84 year old investigator who rides his bike everywhere

Laura and one of her good bye cakes

Picking up new companion

Eating lunch at the Videla's - I'm very tired

Recent converts, the Blancos

Elder Woods
Holaas

I'm still in Pico!!!!! Wahoooo!!! Elder Allen was transferred to Necochea aka beach ha and my new comp is Elder Tiger Woods ha. I knew Elder Woods from Tandil in my 3rd transfer there. He arrived and he's a cool guy. He reminds me a lot of Scott haha. Funny person! He's from ¨Las Vegas¨ until he moved to New Harmony a couple years ago. He's a big dude too. He got a scholarship to play at USU but he had knee problems and said the Lord needed him to go on a mission. We've had lunch b4 together in Tandil with divisions with other missionaries. He has 15 months in the mish hahaha. He was in the bus station in Tandil when I left haha and he and another elder were making fun of me that I'm going to nowhere haha and now he's with me lol. But Maracó is a gr8 area. I love it. The city is General Pico, but the lil branch is called Maracó. It's like cutting Stansbury in half and calling one side cool land or somethin even tho you're in Pico.

We had lunch with the Videlas, then we went home and slept cuz comp got here at 12:30ish like I did. He had to do the same trip I did haha like 10 plus hrs and Elder Allen left at 12 in the morning and I'm favring tired. I think I have a lil fever, but would I play basketball? Yes! That's the question I put to myself if I feel sick haha but I'm tired! but doing gr8.

Elder Dalton and El Martinez are still here. They're fun people. It was pretty cold today and yesterday. Like 75 hahaha almost put on a sweater, for real lol. We had an investigator attend yesterday. 84 yr old Felix Mendicoa. He's hilarious haha. He went to the sacrament meeting.  He went on his bike. He's pretty famous here for biking. He smokes and we are trying to help him get bapt cuz he said he won't do any commitments. He needs to get bapt! He's hilarious, a gr8 old man. He's always joking and said about us that he doesn't let any kind of person in, but loves it when we visit.

This transfer is 9 weeks. It'll be fun, but also they said in these weeks that there will still be missionaries coming in so we might get a call one day and they will tell us we've got a new companion. They're expecting like 30 new missionaries.

Comp Allen was sick in the beginning of the week. My 1st day with a sick comp borinnggg! haha  Then we had the conference in Santa Rosa and were gone all day Friday. It was a good conference and Pres. asked me when I leave, ¨in may¨ ¨in may?!!¨ He was shocked ha and he said to work these last 2 good.

I like what Gma Merlyn said bout service. That's one of my weaknesses, but I love asking people if they need help. I'm getting better, much better ha. You always feel good after. In the other area, the Blanco fam (the ones that got bapt a lil bit ago with tatts), they have lessons with their friends and there's like 6 of them that live in our area, but they go to the Blancos house for the lessons and Pres. said that they have to get baptized in our area, so we have permission to do divisions and to teach them. Pretty exciting!

estoy muerto haha imma pull a michael jordan and play sick.

I have more fotos disfrutenlan from Elder Allen and when he left. The Videlas always do a cake or Laura does them always. She gonna be a chef and we always eat with the Videlas on Sunday.

Keep praying and going to church. It's definitely true and i love the Book of Mormon. If we pray b4 where we should read, it never fails. It's awesome cuz we learn what we need to.

And Sub, it's true. Basically everything you learn b4 the mission you use. Like obedience, etc. I was pretty shocked how everything that surrounds you will help you be a good missionary.

love yalls

Pretend you are in Argy world sun tanning cuz it's hot!

Another big cake from Laura
Me and Hueso (Dad Videla) by the sado

Me and Elder Costanzi, assistant to the president, funny person at the Christmas party

Christmas Eve Teaching the Jimmer ha
Holas

Wow I'm glad I'm not in Utah right now ha! In the negatives! Nice with snow! Fun lol. People ask me if its colder in the states then in Argy and personally I think its more colder in the states. Just close your eyes and imagine that your in Argy world sun tanning cuz it was pretty hot this week. Wahoo it was sweet. It was like 95 to 98 at the end of the week since Thursday and it's still like that. We were outside a lot today and thankfully I could get rid of my awful neck tan line ha.

When we passed by Monday last week to Vero y Nico we talked with her daughter, Barbi and she said they broke up Sunday and the mom was sleeping. So we talked with Barbi. We taught her how to pray. She's 10 and awesome. It's kinda sad, she doesn't really have the support from her mom. Her mom's just kinda lazy. We passed by the other day and talked with Barbi outside cuz no one was home and we taught her about Jesus and she did the last prayer and she had memorized the little prayer that we helped her with. It was gr8!!! We keep telling her to pray in the morning and night and whenever during the day and it showed that she's been practicing! Hopefully they can go to church. We haven't seen Vero all week. Maria Liz told us we can come by Thursday. It's kinda if she's sad she listens, if she's alright she'll tell us come another day. A member gave us a reference of a friend/neighbor and he said that he keeps thinking of her and that we should talk to them. He said he was praying in church that we could talk to him after church, but we didn't. But we passed by his house and he was pretty happy cuz he was praying that we could talk to them. Also their granddaughter gave us a reference of her friend that wants to be a missionary. haha sweet! She's not a member.

We have zone conference this week Friday and Saturday. We'll have interviews Friday (cuz our zone has 30 missionaries there's only one zone in all of Pampa) then Saturday the conference. Also Saturday is when we get transfers. Comp's tired of this area haha. It's his only area in Argy. He'll hit a year in mission in February. He was in Utah for 3 months in MTC and 2 more waiting for his visa haha. But we'll see what happens. Hopefully I stay. This next transfer will be 9 weeks, then the next is my last ughhh! It's true Dad, time is flying! I really hope I can end here. I want to see the the branch grow!!

We had a good meeting in church. I was reading the day b4 from the talk from general conference by, idk, but it was a tremendous talk about Sacrament meeting and church and how we can receive personal revelation and receive answers to problems and feel clean of our sins. Its a gr8 talk! Read it :) I remember Elder Viñas from the 70 talked about preparing for the sacrament meeting is kinda like a process during the week especially Saturday. I had no idea of this stuff b4 haha it's gr8! I really look forward to church to learn. ha President of the branch told a story of how someone in sacrament meeting was talking and he was one of those persons that talk a lot so he kinda zoomed out and after the meeting he saw an hermana crying in her chair after the meeting. He's like, " Are you ok?" She said how that talk really touched her and really helped her and President  just felt horrible cuz he completely kinda spaced that meeting and he said he became more committed to listening in every meeting after.

Enjoy the sun this week haha! No but I actually feel for you guys.

She'll probably look exactly like alyssa when she was lil with blonde curly hair. Sobrina is the word for niece in espñ almost like Sabrina haha.
The pic looks sweet of her. She's pretty big. She has a face and everything haha!

I'm trying to send all the hot air I can in this letter to warm you up ha. We met some new investigators the other day named Nico y Vero (veronica). Nico is tatted up like matt barnes. Says he did them all himself. He's also the cousin of Pablo that got baptized. They talked with the missionaries b4 and have interest in the gospel. He said him and his girlfriend-partner have had a better relationship since we passed by. They also like to party ha that's why they didn't go to church yesterday cuz they got home late. But on Saturday they were excited to go and he said, "Can I get up and talk and thank you guys?" ha we were like, "Actually yeah, you can tomorrow." I kinda thought that that may happen, that they'd go party cuz they were drinkin a lil. I was like, "Hey, be careful. Go to bed early so u can wake up early." But no. But I'm pretty excited for them. They also have a daughter named Barbi, 10 yrs. She's funny. She saw us in the street like 20 min b4 we were going to their house Saturday. She said, "Come by, I have a lot of desires to hear the word of God." ha

Also, there is a lady names Maria Liz. I talked bout her a lil bit b4 and now that the vacations are over etc, she's in her house and she's pretty special. She said she has a hard time forgiving herself of her past and that she kinda just have a gap in her life that nothin can fill it. We'll be reading the Book of Mormon with her tonight. I hope she's home cuz she's ready for the gospel if she tries it. You can really tell she wants happiness.

Was going to send a letter today, but it was filled with people. It has some fotos with it.

I'll keep my eye out for names for alyssa y scott like u asked ha.

Yesterday was the day of the 3 wisemen or somethin where you put your shoes out and in the morning you receive gifts in your shoes. I put my shoes out and someone stole them. hahaha jk

There is a less active who's kinda coming back. He went the last 2 wks. We start church at 9:30 now, while you're still sleeping. We need more members aww!!
